Firefighters were called to the scene of a massive barn fire early Saturday morning in Lafayette, NJ, where 22 horses perished in the blaze.
Heritage Acres, owned and operated by Art and Betty Hahn for 46 years, was home to dressage, reining and show jumping horses.
“I’m so numb and so hurt that I can’t cry,” a devastated Betty Hahn, 73, said. “It would probably feel better if I could.”
