McKee-Pownall Equine Services of Ontario will award two deserving equestrian athletes with the Aspen VanWalraven Memorial Scholarship in 2012.
Each rider will receive $1,200 in the form of a Guaranteed Investment Certificate, which will be put aside on behalf of the recipients. In order to receive the funds, the recipients must use them for post-secondary education.
Aspen VanWalraven was part of the McKee-Pownall team and participated in equestrian sport for the love of the horse. She had the gift of seeing the positive in every situation and gave her unfailing support to others.
