A Royal Occasion: Queen Elizabeth II Cup Day

This year marks a significant milestone for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II: 60 years on the throne is cause for celebration! Festivities are planned all over the commonwealth for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, and Spruce Meadows is proud to be counted among them.

The Queen’s visit to Spruce Meadows on June 29th, 1990 was an honour that will always shine brightly in the venue’s history, commemorated yearly with the ATCO Power Queen Elizabeth II Cup. This year, they have planned many events throughout the summer to honour Her Majesty and this historic anniversary.

On Saturday, July 7th, you are invited to Queen Elizabeth II Cup Day. The price of admission includes: complimentary brunch for the first 3,000 people from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm, the ATCO Power Queen Elizabeth II Cup, access to Her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee Exhibit, military displays such as the Feu de Joie, and much more.  Come out for a day filled with sport, military ceremony, special guests and entertainment!
