The marquee event of the HITS Saugerties series saw four advance to the jump-off but just one double clear over Mark McGowan's track.

Canada has two riders in the top 10 in this qualifier ‒ Erynn Ballard/Billy Alpen (6th) and Vanessa Mannix/Catinka (8th).

Rodrigo Pessoa (BRA) and Lord Lucio were 2nd and Lauren Balcomb (AUS) with Verdini D’Houtveld were 3rd at Tryon Fall 4.

Hunter Holloway and Pepita Con Spita win the first FEI Grand Prix competition of 2021 at TIEC, narrowly edging Ballard and Conor Swail.
