The first group of event riders benefitting from funds from the U25 scholarship program have been announced.

Liz Halliday-Sharp (USA) leads three divisions; Jessica Phoenix remains top Canadian in the CCI4*-L in 6th place with Mighty Mouse.

Top Canadian in the CCI4*-L after dressage day one is Jessica Phoenix with Mighty Mouse, sitting in 3rd place with 32 pp.

Large fields in the CCI4*, 3* and 2* divisions are set to begin the dressage phase, with five nations represented.

The German Olympic eventer will help train young athletes as they prepare to compete at Bromont and Galway Downs.

The generous scholarship program will this year also be available to 10 athletes competing at Galway Downs International.

International travel restrictions due to the pandemic forced the cancellation; Eventing Nations Cup/Three Day still planned for August 13-15.
