Alec Lochore (GBR) has been given the nod by the FEI to design the Olympic cross-country course at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia.

Although not confirmed by the LA28 organizing committee, it appears that Galway Downs has been ousted in favour of the 1984 Games equestrian site.

With three disciplines and 200 quota places, equestrian will be one of the 31 sports on the program of the LA28 Olympic Games.

Using the existing equestrian center already hosting major events would be significantly cost-saving compared to building a temporary venue.
