The 2nd of three Nations Cups to be held in North America took place in San Juan Capistrano and was won by Team USA, who lead the standings.

The US rider won the class on the final day of MLSJ Ottawa; Jacqueline Steffens was the top Canadian in 3rd with Freaky.

Smart, efficient riding landed Steffens at the top of the podium; the Canadian will be part of the Nations Cup team on Sunday riding Freaky.

Victory in the series' final grand prix came aboard Cornet’s Cambridge; top Canadian was Jacqueline Steffens with Freaky in third.

Two Canadians cracked the top 10 – Jacqueline Steffens with Cat Ninja and Nicole Walker riding Excellent B – placing 4th and 7th.

The squad of Tiffany Foster, Jacqueline Steffens, and Beth Underhill took on Mexico and the United States in Coapexpan.

The team event will take place at WEF on March 5th and features an all-female Canadian squad led by new chef d'équipe Eric Lamaze.

The first “Saturday Night Lights” event of the 2022 WEF saw the women’s team, including 3 Canadians, win for the 11th time in 13 years.

Stephen Moore (IRL) and Team De Coquerie top the class while the Canadian and Cat Ninja take second out of 45 starters.

Top Canadian is Jacqueline Steffens, who places 4th with Cat Ninja in a field of 73 entries at the Winter Equestrian Festival.
