The all-female (and all-mare) team made history in Poland with their country's first-ever FEI Eventing Nations Cup victory.

“We like mud!” said the Irish eventers as they won the final leg of the series well ahead of the United States and Germany.

The Germans bounced back from their Olympic disappointment to win this fixture in Belgium over France and Great Britain.

The FEI Eventing Nations Cup at the Strzegom Horse Trials saw first-time team members from France narrowly edge Sweden for the win.

The team clawed its way back up from fifth place after dressage to take the victory – a first on home turf.

The Italian countryside was the setting for a strong French squad to oust Italy, Switzerland, Spain and Australia.

Olympic champion Julia Krajewski leads her squad to victory; Canada has some rough luck with two team members eliminated.

The sixth leg of this important Olympic-qualifying series took place at Avenches, Switzerland; next stop is Bromont, QC.

Just four more competitions remain in this eventing series, concluding at Boekelo where the final Paris Olympics team place will be awarded.
