On Saturday July 4th, a horse was euthanized following the sixth heat of chuckwagon races. Layne Bremner’s right lead horse, Duke, suffered a broken cannon bone, when two wagons collided on the track. The Calgary Stampede has reported that during training exercises this morning, two separate incidents occurred.
