This marked the third CSI5* grand prix win in past six months for the German; Canada's Beth Underhill was 20th with Nikka VD Bisschop.

The Canadian Show Jumping Team sparkled in France under the guidance of Eric Lamaze in his new role of chef d’equipe.
The squad of Tiffany Foster, Jacqueline Steffens, and Beth Underhill took on Mexico and the United States in Coapexpan.
The nail-biter saw the all-female team compete for the first time with new chef d’équipe Eric Lamaze, losing to Ireland in the final round.
