Dressage Canada is pleased to announce the riders who will represent Canada in the Stillpoint Farm Nations’ Cup, taking place during the CDIO 3* Adequan Global Dressage Festival (AGDF) from March 29 through April 2, 2016 in Wellington, FL.

The CDIO 3* Wellington represents week 12 of the prestigious AGDF, which takes place at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center. It also represents an exciting opportunity for top competitors from around the world to compete as a team and represent their country on the world stage.

Canada will be represented in the Nations’ Cup by the following rider/horse combinations:

Brittany Fraser of New Glasgow, NS, will act as the reserve with All In, owned by Craig Fraser.

The Canadian team will be supported by Technical Advisor, Dr. Volker Moritz, and Chef d’Équipe, Christine Peters.

Team Canada has traditionally excelled in this event, fielding two teams in 2015 and bringing home the Team Silver and Team Bronze medals. In 2014, Canada earned the Team Silver, and in 2013 the Team Bronze. Additionally, Chris von Martels captured Individual Silver and teammate Trussell earned Individual Bronze in 2015, while Christilot Boylen was the Individual Gold Medalist in 2013.

This year’s Nations’ Cup will mark the first time in the event’s history that teams can be fielded with exclusively Big Tour (grand prix) horse/rider combinations. Traditionally, teams have been required to include a mix of both Big Tour and Small Tour horses and riders.
