Ottawa, Ontario— It is with regret that the Dressage Canada Board announces the resignation of Kim Goodyear Chair of the Dressage Canada High Performance Committee, effective immediately

Goodyear has been a valued Chair of High Performance for Dressage Canada for the past six years.

In that time she has worked diligently in an attempt to provide all of Canada’s High Performance riders, owners, coaches, competition organizers and colleagues at both Dressage Canada and Equine Canada, with the support and recognition that they have required.

She has served the Canadian Dressage Team through many team selection trials and international competitions including the 2002 World Equestrian Games, the 2003 Open European Championships, the 2003 Pan American Games, the 2004 Athens Olympics, and most recently the 2006 WEG in Aachen, Germany. She was instrumental in the hiring of the current Senior Team Coach, and has always been committed to the goals of High Performance athletes.
