Canadian riders won nine of the FEI classes at CDI-W Saugerties, held August 14–17, 2014, in Saugerties, NY.

Starting Canada’s winning streak was Olympian Ashley Holzer, formerly of Toronto and now residing in New York. Holzer and Tiva Nana (Metall x Cabochon), P.J. Rizvi’s 14-year-old Dutch Warmblood mare, won both the Grand Prix (70.060%) and the Grand Prix Special (69.686%) tests. Holzer was also second in the Grand Prix test with her nine-year-old Westphalian gelding Dressed in Black (Dresemann x Silvano) scoring 68.800%. The pair also won the Grand Prix Freestyle with 73.850%.

Canadian Olympian Evi Strasser of Sainte Adele, QC finished in third place in the Grand Prix test (66.400%) and sixth in the Grand Prix Freestyle (68.300%) riding Renaissance Tyme, her 11-year-old Oldenburg gelding sired by Royal Diamond. With her 12-year-old Danish Warmblood mare, Countess (Don x Solos), Brittany Fraser of New Glasgow, NS, was third in the Grand Prix Freestyle with 70.550%.
