The Larry Cervini Foundation has been founded by family and friends in honour of the late Larry Cervini to continue his commitment and dedication to the hunter and jumper communities. The foundation will host a variety of charitable events to help raise money for talented young riders to attend equestrian competitions in the 2008 season.
Beneficiaries will be chosen by the Foundation’s board of directors, based on rider talent and ability to place in the ring, commitment to sport, positive attitude and good school record.

Cervini was a caring family man with an selfless attitude towards helping and encouraging others. He had a passion for all animals but especially horses which he raised at his Tall Trees Farm in Goodwood, Ontario. He encouraged his daughter, Olivia Cervini, to become involved in the hunter/jumper community from an early age and mentored her through countless national and international competitions. His tragic and unexpected death in December 2007 inspired the creation of the Foundation so that the spirit of his mentorship, sponsorship and guidance would carry on, helping other talented young riders continue and succeed in the sport.
