Well, it was a chilly morning and Anne Marie braided Woody beautifully as per usual. When we arrived at Longwood we were told we are over achievers with our braids. I didn’t realize no one was braiding. Oh well makes the video and pictures look good.

I had an error of course in my dressage test. I know shocker right? For those of you who don’t know me, that was sarcasm.

It didn’t detract from a very decent test for our first show of the year. Our score is 25.9 (should have been a 23.9 had I not had an error). I was very pleased with many of the things we’ve been working to improve like our extended walk, trot and our half pass.

Show jumping was a thrill! I’ve been working with Jonathon Millar to improve our show jumping last fall and will continue this winter.
Woody jumped superbly and accelerated nicely in between fences. The video speaks for itself.
