It was Sunday Funday both sides of the border. Sunday Funday here at Balsam Hall in Kingston means that everyone gets the jumps out and has a little school. It’s always fun when everyone at the barn jumps and today was no exception. The horses enjoy it as a break from the routine. he indoor arena is beginning to pall.
OHE South went hacking. In the photo Selena is at the BACK with Rummy, what a good boy, and she is the one who is taking the photograph. In front of her is Anne Marie on Riley, Marta on Thunder, Megan on KB and way out there forging along in the lead is Kelly on Zephyr. It has been such good fun having Marta and Kelly visit, we wish they could stay all winter. Next weekend is Rocking Horse Winter 3 and Marta is coming back to Ocala to make her debut on Thunder. We can’t wait. He loves his new mummy.
Thunder also got fitted for a new saddle by Voltaire. The Voltaire rep very kindly came to the farm to measure him and ensure that he gets the best fit possible. We are thrilled to know that he will be continuing with Voltaire. When he first came to us his back was a little sensitive and the Voltaire saddles completely eliminated that problem. It’s nice to know he will continue to be safe and comfortable.
Selena’s and Anne Marie’s dogs lead a pretty cool life. Living the dream I would call it. Bizzy (Selena’s) spends a great deal of time organizing the rest of the world. It is tiring to be a world leader and she can often be found in the very best spots for a rejuvenating nap.
