…to share the exciting news that Canada has finished SECOND in the Furusiyya FEI Nations’ Cup final in Barcelona! Go Canada! Go Tiffany! Go Ben! Go Yann! And go Captain Lamazing! Zigali had me feeling the fear during his round because he had two rails in Thursday’s qualifying round, and his WEG performances were hardly stellar. Eric had to go clear to keep Canada out of the scrum for third place right behind them. But I need not have chewed my nails and bitten my lip. Leave it to Eric to pull it off under pressure. Brilliant round. Brilliant overall for Canada, but especially exciting to see young Ben Asselin show such poise and promise.
