The 2025 Ottawa Dressage Festival was one for the books! Held over four action-packed days, May 29-June 1 at Wesley Clover Parks, this year’s event brought together the fierce determination of our dressage athletes — and yes, a little bit of foul weather, too. But wind and rain didn’t dampen spirits; if anything, they seemed to keep the energy high. A big thank you goes to Wesley Clover Parks and Soltek for the superior footing that allowed riders to compete despite the rain.

From Thursday through Sunday, riders across all levels from Intro level tests to seasoned international competitors showed off skill, elegance, and the kind of grit that defines equestrian sport. Among the top finishers this year were:

Grand Prix and Grand Prix Freestyle – Jacqueline Brooks
Leading Athlete CDI – 1) Belinda Trussell, 2) Brittany Fraser-Beaulieu, 3) Daniel Kehres
Leading Athlete CPEDI3*- 1) Jody Schloss, 2) Alexandra Vadnais, 3) Wanda Jamieson
Leading Athlete CPEDI2* – Madison Lawson
FEI Small Tour Amateur Champion – Juliette Barolet
Big Tour Champion – Yanina Woywitka
FEI Young Rider Champion – Kiara Williams-Brown
