SJA_Media_Award_08_copy.jpgOttawa, Ontario—Equine Canada has named Kimberly Logue of hoofbeats! radio as the recipient of the Susan Jane Anstey Media Award.

Logue had made a great effort to provide a voice to the equestrian community and to enhance the image of equestrian interests with the public through her weekly two-hour radio broadcast. With hoofbeats! radio, a syndicated horse talk show, Logue covers many equine topics while entertaining and educating her audience.

The first broadcast of hoofbeats! Radio was heard on December 7, 2007, at 93.3 fm from the University of Guelph, and listenership has increased week after week.  The popular radio show now also transmits from the tower at Mohawk College to reach a wider audience.
