The Spruce Meadows ‘National’, presented by Rolex, gets underway June 10 as many top show jumping athletes descend on Calgary, representing 21 nations in one of the most anticipated tournaments of the summer season.

On Tuesday, more than 200 horses successfully completed the mandatory FEI Veterinary Inspection, confirming their fitness and readiness to compete throughout the week ahead.

From Wednesday’s opening competitions until the final horse crosses the finish line on Sunday, fans can look forward to five days of world-class sport as elite athletes and horses compete step through the iconic Clock Tower onto the International Ring and throughout the tournament grounds.

This week, competitors will face courses designed by renowned FEI Course Designer Olaf Petersen Jr. (GER). Widely respected throughout the sport, Petersen Jr. is known for creating technical yet fair tests that reward precision, horsemanship, and strategic riding. His courses challenge the very best in the world while allowing horses and riders the opportunity to showcase their talent and partnership.
