Eventing & Dressage:
Based on the health regulations for import and export of horses to Hong Kong, the seven-day Pre-Olympic Export Quarantine (PEQ) started on Thursday 17 July for all qualified nations with horses having been confirmed as eligible to participate in the 2008 Olympic Games Eventing and Dressage competitions.
Should a nation (with a team or individuals) drop out for any reason in Eventing or Dressage between today and the beginning of the relevant competitions, the nation will not be replaced as additional horses can no longer be entered in the quarantine protocol.
Jumping:
The PEQ for qualified nations with horses having been confirmed as eligible to participate in the 2008 Olympic Games Jumping competitions will start on 26 July 2008.
Should a nation (with a team or with only individuals) drop out for any reason in Jumping between 25 July 2008 and the beginning of the Jumping competitions, the nation will not be replaced as additional horses can no longer be entered in the quarantine protocol.
