Oldenburg fans from all over the world secured their future stars in the 1st Oldenburg Online Elite Foal Auction and ensured exciting bidding duels to the last second.
The magnificent Be my Love by Bonds – San Amour I – Dream of Love, bred by Theo Fugel from Saterland/Lower Saxony, became the top price with 43,250 Euros. This charismatic son of the champion stallion Bonds comes from the Ic-awarded Brillantring mare Escada. In the future, the movement artist will delight a regular customer in Denmark.
The second most expensive dressage horse with 30,500 Euros was Zuckerpuppe by Zackerey – Samarant – De Niro, bred by Elisabeth Kapp from Clüversbostel/Lower Saxony. Sire Zackerey was Oldenburg’s main premium winner. Zuckerpuppe will bring joy to her new owner in the USA in the future.
The top price for the show jumpers was Emily by Emerald van’t Ruytershof – Verdi – Achill-Libero H, bred by Dr. Susanne Hartmann from Hodorf/Schleswig-Holstein. She comes from the dam line 242, which also produced the 1.60 m jumpers Dana Blue/Maikel van der Vleuten, Uraquay/Karina Johannpeter and Barla/Hannah Selleck. The beautiful Emily will move for 21,000 Euros to a regular customer in Russia.
Unikat by Ulyss Morinda – Diarado – Grandeur, bred by the Zuchtgemeinschaft Zimmermann & Beckmann from Merzen/Lower Saxony, became the second most expensive jumping foal. Dam Dorothe comes from the famous Blankenese dam line and is the sister of Jackie Brown, international 1.60 m victorious under Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum. The charming Unikat will move to a renowned jumping stable in Panama for 20,500 Euros.
17 from 28 auction candidates (61%) have been knocked down by customers from all over the world. Customers from Austria (3), Great Britain (3), Hungary (2), Russia (2), USA (2), Denmark (1), France (1), Netherlands (1), Panama (1) and Spain (1) will be taking home talented Oldenburg foals for the future. The total sales of the Online Elite Foal Auction reached more than 400,000 Euros. The average price of the foals ranged around 14,500 Euros.
