Friday was an evening to remember at the 2025 Spruce Meadows ‘Masters’. Under the lights, 12 horse/rider combinations entered the fan favourite ATCO Electric Six Bar. Six fences, progressing in height after each round, represent a true testament of skill and bravery for both horses and riders.

History was made when the record height set in 2004 by Jessica Kurten (IRL) was broken by not one, but two stars: Vaclav Stanek (CZE) with Quintin, who is owned by Canada’s Ariel Grange, and Joseph Stockdale (GBR) riding It’s Confidential both cleared the final fence set at 2.13m. Joseph Stockdale’s father Tim Stockdale, won the same event in 2011.
