Having won the Prix St. Georges on Friday, Tubman of Dunnville, ON, and De La Rosa followed up with another top finish, first place in the Intermediaire I. Tubman and the eight-year-old Hannoverian mare, owned by Ducat Developments, outclassed a starting field of 18 entries to earn the winning score of 69.123%. Tubman and De La Rosa have won 11 of the 12 classes they have contested so far this season, placing second on only one occasion.

“It was a long and harsh winter for everyone but, for me, it meant a good winter of training,” said Tubman of his success. “The reward is seeing the results in the show ring this year. Not a day goes by that I don’t enjoy riding her.”
