It was another beautiful day at Spruce Meadows and Kent Farrington started things off with a win in the ATCO Solutions (1.50m).

Fifty-nine horse/rider combinations took on the 425m track designed by FEI course designer Leopoldo Palacios (VEN) hoping to produce a clear round and qualify for the jump off.

Twenty-three fault free rounds qualified for the jump off including Scott Brash (GBR), Eric Lamaze (CAN) and Kent Farrington (USA). Unfortunately faults in the jump off kept Brash and Lamaze out of top spot, but Farrington and Jasper were in top form. The pair delivered a clear jump off round in a time of 35.48s to bump Italians Lorenzo de Luca (35.56s) and Bruno Chimirri (37.35s) into second and third place respectively.
