Canadian Paralympian Jody Schloss won the Grade Ia Team Test at the CPEDI3* Global Dressage Festival I presented by Adequan, held at The Stadium at Palm Beach International Equestrian Center in Wellington, Fla., Jan. 9-11, 2015.

Posting Canada’s first win in 2015, Schloss, of Toronto, Ont., entered the ring on her long-time partner and 2012 Paralympic mount Inspector Rebus (Sambertino x Darwin), her 17-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding. They earned a score of 68.261% for the victory.

“Rebus was such a good boy today, and I am so happy with my test,” said Schloss. “I would like to thank my personal coach, Jessica Rhinelander, who has been working very hard to prepare us for this competition with the goal of improving our accuracy, which really paid off in today’s test.”
Also competing for Canada in the Grade Ia Team Test was Robyn Andrews and her 2014 World Equestrian Games mare 14-year-old Fancianna, a Friesian-Andalusian cross. The duo placed third, scoring 65.145%.
