German Julia Krajewski, riding Amande de B’neville, led the CCI4*-L Equi Action of the Saumur Complet from beginning to end. Leader at the end of the dressage, leader at the end of the cross-country, Krajewski did not crack under the pressure and put her signature on a perfect show jumping round.

Also consistent throughout this Saumur competition were the Frenchmen Thomas Carlile on Birmane, who finished second, and the Olympic runner-up Nicolas Astier riding Babylon de Gamma, who benefited from the three rails of his team-mate Karim Laghouag, third at the end of the cross-country, to move up in the final classification and take third place in the competition.
