About Team Irwin

An EC certified High Performance 1 Coach, Tina is a highly-sought mentor for Canada’s up-and-coming dressage athletes. Together, Tina and Jaimey (dubbed “Team Irwin”) are committed to guiding the next generation of dressage athletes. Offering one of the top young rider programs in Canada, Team Irwin has helped numerous athletes qualify for and compete at the FEI North American Youth Championships (NAYC).

Tina was recently named the 2019 EC Equestrian of the Year, earning the prestigious Dr. George Jacobsen Trophy. She had an incredible 2019 season, winning team gold and individual silver with Laurencio at the Pan American Games in Lima, PER. Tina is no stranger to the Pan Am Games, as she was also part of the 2011 silver medal dressage team in Guadalajara, MEX.

Jaimey, a seasoned FEI dressage athlete, trainer and certified High Performance 1 Coach, and has had the pleasure of competing in both North America as well as Europe. Jaimey represented North America in the 2013 Reem Acra FEI World Cup Dressage Final in Gothenburg, SWE, among the best dressage athletes in the world on Lindor’s Finest. He was a member of the first-ever gold medal winning Canadian team at the 2017 Nations Cup in Wellington, FL, on Donegal V, and placed silver individually.

Jaimey has coached many young riders to medals at NAYC; Tina and her fellow teammate, Roberta Morris, to a team silver medal for Canada at the 2011 Guadalajara Pan Am Games; and Tina to the team gold and individual silver medals at the 2019 Lima Pan Am Games. Jaimey is also a highly sought-after clinician.

Both Jaimey and Tina trained in Germany with Holger Muenstermann, the well-known World Cup competitor, who himself trained with highly respected masters Reiner Klimke, Harry Boldt and Willi Schultheis.

About Ron King

Ron spent time living and training in Germany in the nineties with dressage rider Herbert Naeher and jumper Thomas Michel, where he furthered his knowledge of dressage and training horses.

Ron began coaching students from Training to the FEI level when he moved back to Canada in 1998. Shortly thereafter, he opened his own training and coaching business, Blueprint Farm.

Since 2001, Ron has been very active in preparing horses for the famous biannual RCMP Auction. In addition, he taught in the equine program at the former University of Guelph, Kemptville Campus. Ron is an EC certified Dressage Judge and Competition Coach Specialist.
