Jumping: Scott Brash returns to the top a decade later

Scott Brash (GBR) is the new leader of the Longines Rankings, exactly one decade since last achieving this. Brash has surpassed USA’s Kent Farrington, who is now in second position. Ben Maher (GBR) and Gilles Thomas (BEL) have climbed to third and fourth, respectively, after surpassing Olympic champion Christian Kukuk (GER), now fifth.

Top Canadian Erynn Ballard continues to win and win and has moved up from 40th position to 38th.

Longines League of Nations: Team USA undisputed leader

More than a year on from taking the top position, Team USA remains at the top of the Longines League of Nationsâ„¢ ranking. Belgium remains second, now followed by Ireland in third, France in fourth and Great Britain in fifth.

Dressage: Another month at the top for Justin Verboomen & Zonik Plus

It’s been half a year since Justin Verboomen took the top spot in the rankings, where the Belgian athlete remains, along with the nine-year-old black stallion and double European champion Zonik Plus. In second position now lies Germany’s Isabell Werth (Wendy de Fontaine) after climbing from third. That position is now Charlotte Fry’s (GBR, Glamourdale), while Becky Moody (GBR, Jagerbomb) drops to fourth. Rounding up the top five is Carl Hester  (GBR, Fame).

Three Canadians have been bounding up the rankings, with Brittany Fraser-Beaulieu climbing from 36th to 21st place; Camille Carier Bergeron going from 212th to 76th (a move of 136 places!). Those riders also occupy the first two places at the top of the CDI1* ranks. Fraser-Beaulieu has also move from 6th to 2nd place on the CDI2* list. Alexandra Duncan has broken into the top 100 in 89th position, from up 107th.

Eventing: Harry Meade continues his run at the top

Harry Meade (GBR) maintains the top position in the World ranking for the ninth consecutive month, followed by USA’s Boyd Martin. Current European Champion Laura Collett (GBR) holds third place, followed by Tim Price (NZL) and Rosalind Canter (GBR), who remains fifth.

For Canada, top positions remain unchanged as the season gets underway: Jessica Phoenix sits 46th and Waylon Roberts is 88th.

Driving: No changes at the top

The leaders of the FEI Driving World Rankings Four-in-Hand, Pairs and Singles remain unchanged for this month. In the Four-in-Hand division, reigning World Champion Boyd Exell (AUS) continues to dominate, while Stan van Eijk (NED) remains at the top of the Pairs category. In Singles, France’s Marion Vignaud leads the pack; Canada’s Kelly Bruder remains 4th.

Para-Dressage: USA prevails

Team USA are leading the way in the senior rankings: Fiona Howard and Team USA maintain the top spot in both Individual and Team rankings. Sara Morganti (ITA) and Rixt van der Horst (NED) remain second and third; Great Britain and Netherlands are second and third in the Team ranking.

Top Canadian is still Roberta Sheffield, 46th; and Jody Schloss has made a move back into the top 100, now sitting 61st after good placings in Wellington in January with El Colorado. Canada is in 21st place in the team standings.

It should also be noted that in the Vaulting World Cup standings, Canadian Talmage Conrad occupies 8th place.
