Jumping: Kent Farrington closes 2025 as world #1

Kent Farrington (USA) remains at the top of the Longines Rankings for yet another month, followed by Great Britain’s Scott Brash, while Germany’s Christian Kukuk ascends to the top three after surpassing Ben Maher (GBR). Gilles Thomas (BEL) closes out the top five.

Erynn Ballard remains the only Canadian in the top 100, now sitting 45th. In the U25 rankings, Sam Walker, who has been competing in Spain, is climbing toward the top-100, and is now 102nd.

League of Nations: USA’s dominance continues

For the eleventh consecutive month, the USA maintains its position as leader. Current European champion, Belgium, is second, followed by Team France, who is now third after climbing two spots. Ireland drops to fourth, followed by Germany. Canada has nudged up one place to 12th.

Dressage: Justin Verboomen consolidates the top spot

For the fourth consecutive month, Justin Verboomen (BEL) is at the top of the world ranking. His nine-year-old black stallion Zonik Plus remains the leader of the Horses’ ranking. In second position lies Isabell Werth (GER), who has announced that she will be competing this winter at AGDF. Denmark’s Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour climbs two spots and is now third, followed by the British duo Becky Moody and Charlotte Fry.

Top Canadian rider continues to be Alexandra Duncan (102nd), but it should be noted that Brittany Fraser-Beaulieu is once again on the list (184th) thanks to her new grand prix partner Jaccardo.

Para Dressage: Howard, Reilly and Team USA lead the way

Fiona Howard and Team USA maintain the top spot in both the Individual and Team rankings. Sara Morganti (ITA) and Rixt van der Horst (NED) remain second and third. Italy (1,313 points) and Germany (1,300 points) are second and third respectively in the Team ranking. Ireland’s Katie Reilly leads the FEI Para Dressage U18 World Individual Ranking, followed by Clodagh Walsh (IRL) and Elan Williams (GBR).

Canada remains in 20th place, while Roberta Sheffield is still 45th. Eleonore Elstone, 73, of Langley, BC has reappeared on the list in 155th position after a busy summer with the flashy piebald Szecrecy HP.

Eventing: Harry Meade’s reign continues

Harry Meade (GBR) remains at the top of the World ranking for the seventh consecutive month, followed by USA’s Boyd Martin. Current European Champion Laura Collett (GBR) maintains third place, followed by Tim Price (NZL) and Rosalind Canter (GBR .

Top Canadian Jessica Phoenix has slipped a bit from 28th to 46th, while Waylon Roberts is charging up the list from 130th to 88th thanks to some strong 4* performances with Chevalier and Fernhill Salt Lake in the southern US in October.

Driving: No changes at the top

In the Four-in-Hand division, reigning World Champion Boyd Exell (AUS) continues to dominate, while Stan van Eijk (NED) remains at the top of the Pairs category. Top Canadian in the latter is Jérôme Drolet, 97th. In Singles, France’s Marion Vignaud leads the pack while Canada’s Kelly Bruder remains in 4th place..
