“The bids to host the 2015 FEI World Cup™ Jumping and Dressage Finals from Guadalajara and Las Vegas, which has hosted the FEI World Cup Jumping and Dressage Finals in the past, were both very strong. We were extremely happy to see that the bid from Guadalajara was much improved since they withdrew their application for the 2014 edition. The FEI Bureau is also happy that the World Cup Finals will travel outside the traditional continents to Central America when it goes to Guadalajara in 2015,” said Ingmar de Vos, FEI Secretary General.
“We also had four very strong candidates for the FEI European Eventing Championships. After deliberation the Bureau allocated this Championship to Blair Castle (GBR), which had also received the recommendation of the Eventing Committee.”
Information on the wider outcomes from the spring FEI Bureau meeting, at which key items for proposals to the General Assembly were agreed, will be made available next week.
