Eric Lamaze Claims Victory in Valencia

Eric Lamaze, ranked number 2 in the world, who won the Repsol Trophy during the Global Champions Tour, putting in a time of 47.76 seconds, riding mare Coriana Van Klapscheut. This is the same horse that obtained another victory in the previous day’s Iberia Trophy. “She is a fantastic horse, she can do anything, and she’s suitable for almost any kind of competition,” said Lamaze.

Closely following Lamaze was French Simón Delestre on Ciana Z, closing in a time of 48.45 seconds. Portuguese Luciana Diniz and her partner Licapo completed the podium.

Spanish rider, Diana Marsa, won the Grand Prix of Valencia Nespresso Trophy, riding Crusella in the best time, 30.60 seconds. Only seven riders were eligible to go into the second round. Spain’s Ángel Bailo Alonso, on Lavalette Leamax, ended the round in 31.26, which allowed him to place second. American, Caitlin Ziegler and her partner Herald 3, were third.
