The Adequan FEI North American Junior and Young Rider Championships, presented by Gotham North, will be held at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, July 15-20, 2014.

The North American Junior and Young Rider Championships (NAJYRC) is the premier equestrian competition in North America for junior and young riders age 14-21. Young equestrians vie for team and individual FEI medals in the three Olympic equestrian disciplines of show jumping, dressage, eventing and the FEI World Equestrian Games disciplines of reining and endurance. The competition is run under rules of the FEI (Federation Equestre Internationale), the international governing body for equestrian sport, and is the only FEI championship held annually on this continent.

The Endurance FEI CEI 4* will be held on July 18, 2014. Endurance Canada is very pleased to announce our declared riders for this competition:

• Jessica Yavis (Alberta)
• Stephanie McLeod (Quebec)
• Katya Levermann (British Columbia)

Yavis will be returning to defend a Team Gold Medal performance in 2012 and a Team Silver in 2013. Levermann was named to the 2013 Team, but was unable to compete as her leased horse died of colic just days before the competition. This will be McLeod’s first NAJYRC. These are three very competent, accomplished young competitors, of whom we are extremely proud.
