Craig Fraser of New Glasgow, NS has been honoured with the 2015 Dressage Canada Owner of the Year Award.
The father of Canadian Dressage Team member, Brittany Fraser, Craig is committed to supporting the sport of dressage in Canada as an owner of Canadian Equestrian Team horses.
In 2015, Craig’s horse, All In was named to the Canadian Dressage Team at the TORONTO 2015 Pan Am Games, with Brittany in the saddle. Together, Brittany and the 10-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding (Tango x Damiro), not only helped Canada take the Team Silver Medal, but were also instrumental in setting a new Canadian record for the highest dressage team average at a major games.
As the owner of Countess (Don x Solos), a 13-year-old Danish Warmblood mare, Craig also helps ensure that Brittany has depth to her string of competition horses and is able to increase her experience and exposure in the show ring at the CDI-W and CDI 3* level in North America.
Brittany accepted the 2015 Dressage Canada Owner of the Year on behalf of Craig during a special presentation by Equine Canada Manager, Dressage, Christine Peters and Dressage Canada Chair, Sarah Bradley on Nov. 12 at the Royal Horse Show in Toronto, ON.
