Mark Bellissimo has sold another of his equestrian real estate properties ‒ the Colorado Horse Park. This deal came on the heels of his sale of the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center last year to Global Equestrian Group, which also purchased Chronicle of the Horse earlier this month, which Bellissimo owned since 2013.

Bellissimo and his PBIEC partners at the time acquired the scenic 148-acre Colorado Horse Park, founded in 1992 by Helen Krieble, in 2015; Singletree Equestrian, a group of Littleton Equine Medical Center veterinarians and stakeholders, have purchased the Park.

The Colorado Horse Park hosted four North American Junior and Young Riders Championships between 1998 and 2016 and held a CDI in 2017. The park’s boarding facility was closed in 2020 but competitions continued to run there, including the Spring, Summer and Autumn in the Rockies series of hunter/jumper shows.

A post on the facility’s Facebook page reads:

“Singletree Equestrian, a group of Littleton Equine Medical Center veterinarians and key stakeholders would like to formally announce the purchase of the Colorado Horse Park!

This venue has been such an asset to the Colorado and multi-state regional horse community and will continue to be an asset to our Colorado Equestrian community. The beautiful grounds will stay a refuge in a sea of new homes and a connection to the Douglas County rural past. We will continue to host the national and international shows in coordination with Langer Equestrian Group, and over the next few years we plan to create a world class equine hospital and referral center at the horse park, as well as continuing to improve and expand the horse show facility. We couldn’t ask for a better partner in producing our horse shows than LEG Shows & Events.

We are incredibly excited for this next chapter in the history of the Colorado Horse Park and we’re looking forward to 2023!”
