Please see the below information regarding changes in FEI Rules and FEI Tests for 2011.
Article 422.1.4
1.4 Horses may only take part in one (1) Competition per day at international dressage events and may not start in a national dressage competition / event from the day of the horse inspection until the day after completing their last international competition at the same event.
The United States Equestrian Federation asked for an exception to this rule in 2011, but that request was denied.
The Canadian national federation will be sending a request to change the rule wording to “No horse may compete in a National class after the CDI Horse Inspection is scheduled”.
For the 2011 CDI season, all Organizers must abide by the current rule.
FEI Tests for 2011
The FEI Young Horse & FEI Freestyle tests have been amended to reflect the correct penalty calculations, the actual dates of the tests had not been updated to reflect the changes.
Competition organizers both Gold and Platinum should be aware that if you copied either the FEI Young Horse tests or any of the FEI Freestyle test from the FEI website before February 10, 2011, you should discard those copies & obtain new updated copies.
