All 45 horses who presented to the ground jury at the Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event presented by MARS EQUESTRIAN™ will be moving on to the first phase of competition, the dressage, following the first horse inspection. Under warm blue skies, the competitors in the CCI5*-L competition put their best and most fashionable foot forward as they demonstrated their horses’ fitness to begin the competition.

Two competitors — Booli Selmayr with Millfield Lancando and Alexandra MacLeod with Newmarket Jack — were held upon first inspection, but passed upon representation. One additional competitor — Doug Payne and Quantum Leap — was asked to immediately re-jog at the first presentation, but was accepted.
