The connection between horse and rider is a magical bond, inspiring mutual trust and shared responsibility, with the common goal of empowerment.
Every year, CARD’s therapeutic riding programs foster this bond and improve the lives of more than 500 children and adults with disabilities. CARD brings people with disabilities and horses together in positive, life-changing ways. CARD’s therapeutic riding programs have a direct and positive impact on a disabled rider’s self-esteem, independence, balance and ability to communicate and to walk. CARD is a place that looks at people’s abilities and helps them know what they can do.
Please join us for a magical moment in time at a special benefit for CARD on September 18, 2008. The day includes wine and hors d’oeuvres, a gourmet luncheon, silent auction, the music of classical guitarist Jo Anne Tudor, and presentations by CARD riders and Dax Adams, former CARD rider and ParaOlympic equestrian.
