Canadian reining talent took to the ring last week at the FEI AQR 2013 CRI3* held September 16 – 19, in Blainville, QC in their bid to qualify for the 2014 WEG Selection Final to be held next spring. Five riders put their best spins and slides into play earning their berth at the finals.
The WEG Selection Final will be an FEI (CRI) event held in Canada after the qualification period has ended (April 30th, 2014). The date and location will be announced by February 15th, 2014.
To qualify athletes must have achieved a score of 68 or greater under one judge or a minimum of 136 or 204 under a two or three judge system respectively, at four different CRIs (two of which must be Canadian CRI 3*s) during the qualification period (October 1, 2010 – April 30, 2014).
