Owner and trainer John Ross’ J.R. Racing Stable enjoyed a profitable night winning both the $200,000 Muskoka Stakes, with 2-year-old filly Lexie Lou, and the $200,000 Simcoe Stakes with 2-year-old colt Go Greely. Lexie Lou was purchased by Ross at last year’s CTHS Canadian Premier Yearling Sale for $5,500 and with last night’s win she has purse earnings of more than $150,000.
