Ottawa, Ontario – The FEI World Cup Canadian League Final, sponsored by Yamana Gold, and Dressage Canada Grand Prix Freestyle Championship will once again be a highlight of the Royal Horse Show, held November 3-12, 2006, as part of the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair at the National Trade Centre in Toronto, ON.

Horse-rider combinations are preparing to go head-to-head in a battle that will not only determine the Dressage Canada Grand Prix Freestyle Champion, but will also determine Canada’s representative for the 2007 World Cup Final being held in Las Vegas, USA, from April 18-22, 2007. The Grand Prix is scheduled for Wednesday, November 8, as part of a free afternoon performance. As part of the featured evening performance, competitors will then perform the Grand Prix Freestyle to music on Thursday, November 9. The winner of the Grand Prix Freestyle will be crowned the Dressage Canada Grand Prix Freestyle Champion, and will be invited to contest the World Cup Final.
