Olympic show jumper Ben Maher was injured on Monday while leading a horse in his Essex yard.
The horse fell, knocking Maher to the ground, squashing his leg. As the horse scrambled to get up, a hoof struck Maher on the top of his head.
Maher has said that is just fine, however, reporting via Twitter that his wound has been glued, rather than stitched. The accident will not prevent him from competing at Stuttgart, November 16-20.
