Canadian Ali Ramsay and her mount Lutz won their first Grand Prix together today at the International Bromont, on a magnificent court, despite weather conditions.

Due to a thunderstorm, the International Bromont Grand Prix had to be interrupted and the heavy rain (more than 14 mm in 20 minutes) looked like it might compromise the return to competition, but the excellent quality of the footing allowed the continuation of activities on an course better than ever. In fact, 35 minutes after the announcement of the restart of the class, the international ring was drained and ready for the waiting participating pairs.

The course designed by Leopoldo Palacios (VEN) allowed only 6 pairs to advance to the jump-off: Canadians Ali Ramsay with Lutz and Keean White with Corette and Tahiorn, Americans Leslie Burr-Howard with Donna Speciale and Christine McCrea with Dali de Vy, as well as Irishman Daniel Coyle.
