$500,000 FTI Consulting Finale Grand Prix this Saturday

The competition builds to a crescendo for the $500,000 FTI Consulting Finale Grand Prix Saturday, March 27. Festivities begin with The Lead Line Class at 6 p.m. and the show jumping class starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center, home of the FTI Winter Equestrian Festival.

Crowds will be wowed not only by the Olympic and world-class equestrians competing over a challenging course in the International Arena, but watch the stakes rise in the final round to see who will win the $100,000 FTI Rider Challenge. This bonus prize money will be awarded to grand prix riders who have been accumulating points all season towards the top spot. This is one of the top prize money nights in show jumping.

The Lead Line Class will be at 6 p.m. – come see adorable ponies and the youngest equestrians who may be the future grand prix riders.

For the Grand Prix riders and trainers, the course walk will be 6:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.

Entertainment includes the fabulous Key West Sunset Festival Street Performers and live music to groove to from “The Headliners.”

Enjoy a Children’s Fair from 6 – 8 p.m. with Face Painting, Balloon Artist, Bounce House, and Petting Zoo. Keep your eyes on the sky as Craig Floyd from Sky Palm Beach parachutes into the ring. Cowboy Trick Rider Rick Steed will be riding carrying the American Flag, and the National Anthem will be sung by Equestrian Sport Production’s own Gary Hodges.

There are numerous food and beverage options including the famed Tiki Hut, Suncast Pavilion and new Trough Sports Bar. Shop for everything from souvenirs hats to designer dresses and jewels at Worth Avenue West. Check out the fashionable clothes, accessories, jewelry, original art, and fine equestrian vendors around the arena.
