2009 Global Champions Tour

Arezzo, Italy – The Global Champions Tour (GCT) will commence the 2009 season this week with the GCT of Italy hosted by the Arezzo Equestrian Centre. The GCT Grand Prix of Italy features 285,000 Euro and the world’s best riders competing on the famous Arezzo grass arena.

 

Last year the riders agreed to support the event organisor and give 5% of their prize money won from the grand prix (15,000 Euro). Due to pressure from other event organisors, the FEI could no longer accept the 5% deduction so the prize money remains at 285,000 Euros.
