The excitement of the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) trots into Toronto early with HorseCapades, an exciting and interactive program that introduces fans of all ages to the wonder of horses. In celebration of its 10th anniversary, this year’s program is bigger than ever and will include FREE pony rides, as well as a spectacular trick-riding show, HorsePower Live!, debuting on August 2nd. Set to original music, HorsePower Live! showcases the pageantry, power, and precision of riders and horses performing remarkable feats such as barrel racing, trick riding, roping, and hip-hop dressage in the Horse Palace Ring.

HorseCapades offers visitors the chance to pet horses, learn about grooming and shoeing, guess a horse’s weight, enjoy a horse-drawn wagon ride –- and is FREE to all visitors, from August 2 – 20th at the Horse Palace, Exhibition Place.

“Since 2005, HorseCapades has introduced and delighted more than 35,000 children and visitors to the enchantment of horses and charm of rural life,” says Virginia Ludy, CNE General Manager. “Celebrating our agricultural roots is an integral part of the CNE, and HorseCapades is a shining example of offering interactive learning, family fun, and a taste of the farm life, right in the heart of the city.”
