The opening weekend of the Royal Horse Show was an exciting one, with wins for Phillip Dutton and Quasi Cool and Taylor Brooks riding Spectre.

Campbell-Cooper finished second in both Hunter Derby classes to clinch the title; Tuesday's event was won by Taylor Brooks and Spectre.

The Ottawa native rode Spectre to top a large field of 38 entries who contested the Championship over three hard-fought classes.
