The registered nurse found the son of Cabardino in a field of two-year-olds in Ocala and the pair added to their Royal championship ribbons.

The pair were awarded the overall 2023 Canadian Hunter Derby Championship, while a Royal Dressage Showcase also wowed the Royal crowd.

The opening weekend of the Royal Horse Show was an exciting one, with wins for Phillip Dutton and Quasi Cool and Taylor Brooks riding Spectre.

Campbell-Cooper finished second in both Hunter Derby classes to clinch the title; Tuesday's event was won by Taylor Brooks and Spectre.
