A total of 45 competitors from around the world will tackle the 11th annual Mongol Derby – the world’s longest horse race – this August.

The 10th Mongol Derby has been won by Adrian Corboy from Australia and Annabel Neasham, from England after six days, over 1,000 km.

The 10th Mongol Derby kicks off today, August 7, 2018. Forty-four competitors, including two Canadians, will ride 1,000 km across Mongolia.

The 2017 Mongol Derby, has been jointly won by 29-year-old Ed Fernon, an Olympic pentathlete from Sydney, Australia, and 51-year-old Barry Armitage
