Matt Sampson and Un Secreto Z won the feature Derby on opening day; he recently set up a new yard near the showground along with Canadian fiancée Kara Chad.

The international fixture will be replaced by a national show, the Al Shira’aa Jumping Championships, to run on the same dates.
